Nytex 4700 – tailor-made for tyre compounds

"Nytex 4700 fits well within our already broad range of non-labelled tyre oils," says Thorsten Lutze, Market Manager for Nynas tyre oils.

He believes that with Nynas' global supply program this product offers a very competitive solution for polymer and tyre companies who need to replace their high aromatic oils before 2010. 

"Tests and discussions with key companies are ongoing, but now we are ready to introduce this product to a wider group of companies," Lutze explains.

Nytex 4700 performs well in tyre compounds with its glass transition temperature being close to -50˚C. It also meets the health and safety criteria of the new legislation. The total concentration of the eight individual PAHs covered is well below 10 ppm. The new grade also conforms to the high viscosity naphthenic oil specification set by the IISRP Americas section.
