Can you fly three jumbo jets simultaneously?

Being an operator at an oil refinery is no easy job. You're expected to keep a vigilant eye on more than 300 gauges at any given time.

A pilot of a jumbo jet 'only' has to watch over a hundred or so gauges. Data from 7,000 sensors throughout the refinery is continuously fed to 25 panels in the control room. "As an operator you have a lot of responsibility, literally for billions of euros worth of property, plus, of course, all the safety aspects," says a senior operator at the Nynashamn refinery.
