Due to parental leave, they are now looking for a Laboratory Engineer to the Process Technology Department. The department is an R&D department utilizing pilot hydrotreaters, microreactors and pilot distillation units, at process development studies for production of both the present naphthenic specialty products and possible new products from different crude oils.
This position is a temporary replacement of an employee at parental leave during the period from mid- August until December 2021. As a Laboratory Engineer, you will mainly perform different chemical analyses on samples collected during the development studies and assist the Pilot Plant Engineers at operating the hydrotreaters and distillation units. Common analyses carried out are viscosity and flashpoint measurements, cold flow properties, IR-, GC- and XRF-analyses etc.
Safety is important at Nynas and you are expected to always work in a safe manner according to valid instructions.
Academic Work is responsible for the recruitment process, but you will be employed directly by Nynas AB.
