As of 1st of May 2017, there will be a position as Charterer available within Nyship to cover a Paternity Leave in Stockholm. This position is a temporary assignment valid until 1st Sept 2017.

As the position holder, the main task for this position is to support the Bitumen Supply Chain Team in optimising the Bitumen vessel operations. This position is located in Stockholm and it reports to the Head of Supply Chain – Shipping.

Key responsibilities

  • Being responsible for the planning and commercial operation of our bitumen vessels.
  • Being involved with planning of the delivery of bitumen cargoes from the refineries to the depot network.
  • Maintaining direct contact with interested parties in the shipping operations, including vessels, agents, ship managers and regulatory authorities.
  • Monthly reconciliation of vessel activities and recording of KPI’s.
  • Take active part in the general shipping operations within Nynas covering NSP and Crude supplies

Candidate profile  

The successful candidate:

  • Holds a Master degree, preferably within Logistics and/or Economics or equivalent working experience.
  • Work experience in Operations is desired while experience in the field of logistics or Process industry is a merit.
  • Excellent skills in English and solid knowledge in MS Office applications are required.
  • Has a strong focus on communication, a good basic understanding of logistics, is structured, pro-active and flexible.
  • Has good social and diplomatic skills and be able to work independently and under pressure.
