Nynas Manufacturing is now looking for an experienced

Human Resources Manager

A balanced supply of raw materials and improved utilisation of our production facilities are highly prioritised areas. Our Human Resources Manager will have an important role in our Group strategy to create a stable, cost-effective, customer-driven, competitive and profitable business development. Within the framework of Group-wide policies and guidelines, you will be expected to develop methods, tools and systems to drive and follow up HR issues in Manufacturing. You will be reporting directly to the Director Human Resources and in Matrix to VP Manufacturing. Manufacturing’s HR department presently has three staff.

 

Manufacturing has some 540 employees at three refineries: Nynäshamn (250), Gothenburg (40) and Harburg (250).

Among our exciting challenges in the years ahead are:

-        Ongoing development, integration and improvement of our refineries

-        Optimisation of production resources

-        Continued improvements of our HSSE culture

-        Continued development of managers and leaders

-        Generation change

-        Having the right competence in the right place at the right time

 

In your role as Human Resources Manager you must be able to fully understand these challenges and their implications within HR, and contribute suggestions for the development of business goals and objectives based on HR perspectives.

Other responsibilities involve:

-        As a member of the management team, drive HR issues based on a Manufacturing perspective and create HR work standards

-        Compensation and payroll

-        Presenting development needs/plans and budgets to be discussed and decided by the management team

-        Recruitment and staffing

 

Professional experience

The ideal candidate will have broad previous experience of the HR area, including at least 10 years’ professional experience and at least 5 years as a personnel manager. Other qualifications required to become successful in this role are previous experience of driving HR initiatives and issues in a manufacturing environment and/or experience of management work in a near-production environment.

Personal profile

You are analytical, driving and structured in your work approach. As a person, you are open and able to communicate freely with people at all levels. You have high personal integrity, a mature personality and are able to drive development in the HR area based on your business-orientation, personal energy and negotiation skills. You are positive about and have experience of working in an international business environment as well as organisational change processes. As our Group language is English, we assume you are fluent in the language, both in writing and speaking. You are based in, or prepared to relocate to Stockholm, and must be prepared to travel.
