• Sales Executive - France, Switzerland and North Africa

 

  • Nature of the job:

Performs all necessary tasks for a correct, effective and customer oriented

sales to all Nynas customers in France, Switzerland and North Africa.

Most important objectives for the position noted in order of importance:

Highest possible sales volume at best possible margin

Identifying potential customers and if possible turn them into regular customers

Give technical advice/reporting to potential and regular customers

Accurate and timely reporting to the General/Sales Manager

Establish a high market penetration with good cost efficiency (Travelling, Phoning, Sales promotion, Representation etc.)

               

  • Dimensions of the job:

The position holder is situated in the Paris Nynas office. She/He creates visit and monthly reports to the General/Sales Manager and is responsible for all sales of Nynas Products in France, Switzerland and North Africa. She/He is responsible for contacts/visits/discussions/reports/offers/approvals/technical support to (from) existing and potential customers. "Foster" existing clients and identifying new potential is key. Marketing activities have to be done weekly e.g. follow-up of incoming orders. Taking actions on budget/forecast deviations. Preparation of a regular 3-month-forecast and a volume budget. Contacts with technical service and market managers and follow-up necessary actions concerning customer credits

 

  • Exceptions:

Some defined "key customers" to be handled by the General Manager

including shipping and export business

At request from Competence Transfer, to play the role of reference person

for certain applications, on the global market

 

  • Accountabilities:

Decision on all activities to fulfil the responsibilities under Dimensions of the job described with the following limits:

Contracts up to max. 3 month validity

Contracts of a total invoice value up to 130 k€

Prices offered must be above LSP-level or above special LSP-level approved by

the General/Sales Manager and/or Sales Director

No direct export business without approval from General/Sales Manager

               

  • Job summary:

Intensive customer contact

Some contact to forwarders but only in special cases (stands in for sales

administrator) normally handled by sales administrators

Contact to Independent inspectors - same as above

Contact to Depots - same as above

Contact to General/Sales Manager - Reporting/price discussions

Contact to Sales administrators - Place order/update price information

Contact to Market managers - Give market information directly on demand

Contact to Book keeper - Timely control and approval of invoices/etc. as basis for payment terms and payments

Contact to Technical service - Technical discussions/specification limits

Contact to Analysis lab. - Specifications/special analysis etc.

               

  • Supervision received:

The job doesn't need close supervision as the position holder is expected to work in the framework described above.
