See you at the E&E Event in Berlin

The theme of the inaugural 2018 E&E Event is “Preparing the asphalt industry for the future”.

The confe­rence, which will be held in Berlin on 14–15 June, will focus on the initiati­ves needed for the asphalt industry to meet the demands of the future. Items on the programme include dis­cussions about the roads of tomorrow as well as financial issues, sustaina­bility, new technologies and how the industry can attract young talent. 

This year marks 90 years since Nynas started working with bitumen. Come and talk to us about how the specialist knowledge we have accumulated inspires us to create durable materials for the mobility challenges of the future.

The E&E Event is a sister event of the Eurasphalt and Eurobitume (E&E) congress, which is held every four years, the next time in 2020 in Madrid.

The brains of Nynas: Rogier van Hoof

Head of Secondary Distribution since 2011, Rogier oversees and coordinates transport-related (when the product ends up on wheels) issues across the globe with suppliers, naphthenic affiliates and customers. He joined Nynas in 2005 as General Manager Naphthenics Benelux, after having worked for 20 years at a major French oil company. Rogier holds a Master’s degree in Business Management, and has also studied Mechanical Engineering. Find out what's on his mind.

A versatile material

The world’s third most widely used synthetic plastic polymer, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), is used in a large variety of construction materials as well as in many other applications such as bottles, packaging and inflatables. By using Nynas naphthenic oils as an external lubricant additive in PVC, the material’s performance is significantly improved.
