Sharing our experience to help our customers grow

When Nordic Sales Executive Iván Aguilera visited a new customer recently, he delivered a special edition drum containing NYNAS® T 22, a hydrotreated naphthenic base oil ideal for use in the formulation of metalworking fluids.

As a leading international supplier of base oils for metalworking fluids Nynas offers a stable, high quality product range. Having built up an excellent technical knowledge base over many years, we offer our experience to help customers find the right product to fit their application.

Chemirol AB, a family run business based in Southern Sweden, is one of the most recent customers to benefit. Founded in 1989 with the aim of creating a vegetable-based metalworking fluid, the company continues to grow and expand its portfolio into mineral oil-based products.

Towards the end of 2018, Nynas marked its 90th anniversary by producing a small number of drums bearing the message ‘Contains 90 years’ experience.’ It was also around this time that Chemirol AB selected NYNAS T 22 base oil for use in their product formulation.

“Nynas is committed to helping our customers reach their goals, whether we’ve been working together for two weeks or twenty years,” says Iván Aguilera.

To celebrate the start of a new business co-operation and wish Chemirol AB continued success, Nynas arranged for delivery of one of our 90th anniversary drums to their plant in Helsingborg, Sweden. Service and Marketing Manager Fredrik Beng is pictured with the limited edition drum.

“Long term relationships are important to Nynas, and it’s great to be working with Chemirol AB at the beginning of their journey,” adds Iván Aguilera. “Nynas is more than 90 years into ours, and we are looking forward to sharing our expertise, and continuing to provide flexible and reliable deliveries of naphthenic oils.”

Demand for naphthenic base oils for use in metalworking fluids is expected to increase, building on a strong first half of 2019 for Nynas in the Nordic market. Iván Aguilera attributes this success to the strong relationships he and the Nynas team has cultivated over time with customers and key players in the region.

“Our customers have a good understanding of what Nynas is about - flexibility, technical support, and a local presence. It’s important for us that a new customer such as Fredrik who chooses NYNAS T 22 base oil due to its high quality and performance, also knows that I’m ready to help with questions and provide support as his business grows,” concludes Iván Aguilera.
