Thanks to a supply network that spans the world, Nynas is able to meet the market’s stringent requirements for service, quality and reliability.
We work with selected forwarders and transport companies with whom we have contractual agreements, ensuring that global safety regulations are met and covered.
We aim to set up dedicated transportation flows together with our customers, ensuring that drivers who unload Nynas products are familiar with the customer’s site and their requirements. For this, we conclude long-term agreements with our transport providers.
On site deliveries demand special flexibility from forwarders and Nynas, as the timing of a delivery tends to shift depending on a lot of external factors. The ‘oil’ part is one of the last items in these very complex projects, and requested delivery dates can change very often.
For regular deliveries, we have clearly agreed lead times with our customers to ensure we meet expectations. For project deliveries, we have a delivery scenario for each project that we can execute depending on the lead times requested. The earlier Nynas gets involved, the better we can manage cost efficiency and lead times.
Nynas takes care of the documents required in order to guarantee a trouble-free import and export process. This means that not only do we issue the customs and excise documents, we also provide, for example, the CMR (Carriage of Goods by Road) and VGM (Verified Gross Mass) documents, certificates of origin and Certificate of Analysis, as well as destination-specific, additional documents and markings.
The supply chain process is monitored at each step in which the product is handled, guaranteeing that the products are delivered with a constant quality. The products are checked before and after discharging vessels, before and after the product is pumped into our storage tanks, and a product quality check is also conducted after each loading.
