Stina started at Nynas as Supply Chain planner EMEA after graduating from Linköping University with a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management in 2007. She moved on to roles as Supply Chain Analyst, Contract Manager Supply Chain, and Planning Manager Supply Chain. Since December 2016, Stina has been Head of Supply Chain EMEA. We always try to find solutions to meet customer requirements and support them as best we can. At the same time we have strong focus on HSSE, which we would never compromise in our operations. A big part of our daily efforts involves making sure that the needs of one client are not in conflict with the needs of others. The challenge is to find the best solution for as many as possible!
8% FRIENDS AND FOOD
I draw a lot of energy and inspiration from my friends. I meet some friends from university at least once a month, to try out some of the many nice restaurants Stockholm has to offer. Food is also something we like to devote energy to at home. My kids are also interested, so that makes it easy (at least when they have learned not to touch the stove).
Nynas Supply Chain works closely with a number of internal and external counterparties, including suppliers and customers, and all the various departments within Nynas. Good communication and cooperation are crucial. To deliver the best solutions we need to understand the global demand for our products and the needs of our customer as well as manufacturing possibilities and limitations. This kind of daily cross-functional cooperation is also what makes working in Supply Chain fun.
22% MY KIDS
I have two children. They are so funny and give me so much joy. It’s not all fun though, there are anger management issues, rejection of clothes (in the Swedish winter) when you are late for a meeting and illnesses from day care to contend with; but I like challenges and I love them more than anything.

The world is changing constantly – from customer needs and shipping market developments, to container rates and the impact of traffic on our road deliveries – which requires us to always be flexible, and adapt the supply chain network to meet market demand, improve service levels and reduce costs. This also means we need to continuously adapt our internal processes and communication to ensure high quality in what we deliver – and cultivate an enjoyable working environment.
