Guiding Oil to Nynas Customers

At our European supply hub in Antwerp, automatic guided vehicles are now being used for the warehousing of drums and bulk containers filled with Nynas naphthenic oil.

They provide a smarter solution, enabling stock to be handled in a more efficient way.

• Automatic guided vehicles can prepare outgoing orders for 24 hours during working days, providing a flexible service to the selected forwarders and transporters making collection.
• Using GPS tracking technology, they send laser signals to sensors fitted in the warehouse, to orient themselves and find customer orders quickly.
• When detecting an approaching person, the vehicles reduce their speed before stopping altogether, minimising the risk of collisions or accidents.
