The Production department is a part of the Refinery organization in Nynäshamn and is responsible for the day to day operation of all process units, the tank farm, the harbor and the truck loading at the Nynäshamn Refinery. Together with HSSE, Maintenance, Process Technical Support and Supply and Distribution groups, the productions group makes up the refinery organization in Nynäshamn.
The areas of responsibility include the operations of the refinery and development of the work force in terms of safety, behavior and competence as well as budgeting and cost follow up. You will manage a work force of 90 people including shift supervisors, shift operators and engineers. Your responsibility is also to lead and develop the work within your Production Management team which consists of the Operation Supervisor leading the five Shift Supervisors, the Competence Developer Manager, the Production Engineer Manager and the Day Time Supervisor.
Among your main challenges are to guide and coach the production team to achieve safe, efficient and reliable production according to the production plan, to develop the safety and reliability of the workforce and of the units and to implement continuous improvements. You ensure process operation within safe limits, compliance with all regulatory, permit, and HSSE requirements. You deliver best-in-class operational performance through standardization and sharing of best practices. You are responsible for hiring, training, coaching, evaluation of the staff. You participate in preparation of shutdown planning activities, unit troubleshooting and report overall production of refinery.
You will work closely with the maintenance manager to coordinate scheduled and unscheduled works, and ensure the Preventive Maintenance programs and Mechanical Integrity programs can be achieved.
You will be a member of the Refinery management team and play a key role in the day to day activities as well as the future of the refinery. You will report directly to the Refinery manager.
You are a senior Manager. You have a Master of Science degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and many years of experience as Operation Manager and/or Engineering Manager from working within the petrochemical or oil refining industry.
Communicates fluently in English and have the ambition to learn Swedish
