Two well-respected trade journals have recently published articles co-authored by Mehdi Fathi-Najafi, Senior Technical Advisor & Group Specialist Nynas Naphthenics.
Eurogrease Magazine is a well-respected trade journal aimed at people, on both the technical and the commercial side, who are involved in the manufacture, supply and use of lubricating grease. In the latest issue (3/2017) of Eurogrease Magazine, Mehdi Fathi-Najafi, Senior Technical Advisor & Group Specialist Nynas Naphthenics, is co-author of an article entitled “The Impact of the Degree of the Solvency of Naphthenic Oils on the Structure of Lithium Complex Greases”.
The article describes a current study, the aim of which is to focus on the impact of the degree of solvency power of three naphthenic oils on two different lithium complex greases. Mehdi Fathi-Najafi and his colleagues discovered, among other things, that naphthenic oil with medium viscosity performs very well in different types of lithium complex grease formulations and the solubility of base oil affects the structure of grease in a positive manner.

Another article authored by Mehdi Fathi-Najafi and co-authored by three other Nynas researchers – Professor Thomas Norrby, Linda Malm and Dr Jinxia Li – was recently published by the NGLI Spokesman, a technical journal from the National Lubricating Grease Institute in the United States.
