We are currently recruiting a temporary Depot Technician for Bitumen Nordic, at our depot in Gothenburg, based at the Refinery. You will be part of the Sweden Depot Operations within Bitumen Nordic. The position will be temporary over a period of six months, starting as soon as possible.

As the position holder you will be part of a team that work with loading of trucks, IBC and all ordinary work in the depot area including handling customer calls. The role also includes times in the reception to the Refinery.
This position includes short term troubleshooting for our customers, reporting of loadings into our system, providing education to truck drivers in safe loading, handling safety on the loading spot.

  • Ship documentation
  • Truck loading
  • Handling of truck loading system Dacc
  • Training of truck drivers
  • Safety control of bitumen trucks
  • Product control – samples
  • Control of delivery equipment
  • Planning of emulsion and PMB production
  • Maintenance planning and work (Manage several systems)
  • Delivery plans for customers
  • Customers contacts and visit of asphalt plants
  • Support reception personnel at Gothenburg office.

When carrying out the above tasks the person will need to follow Nynas Policy, safety regulations, routines and instructions regarding all work, know about and comply whit applicable Swedish laws and regulations, investigate and report on deviations. During Depot Managers absence being responsible for depot operations.

Candidate profile

The successful candidate must
be a good communicator to customers and drivers as well as planners
have excellent IT skills to be able to handle our company’s IT-tools.
You need to be fluent in Swedish and have a good knowledge in English.
It is a merit if you have experience in refinery or shipping operations.
