Eric Gosse appointed CEO of Nynas AB

Eric Gosse has been appointed the new CEO of Nynas AB and is expected to join the company in September 2023. He will take over the CEO duties from Stein Ivar Bye who has been President and CEO acting since May 2022.

Eric Gosse has a strong track record from senior executive positions including 25 years at Total Energies with responsibilities in both the Bitumen and Fuel & Lubes businesses. Eric Gosse currently serves as a key member of the VIVO Energy executive committee with responsibility for supply and distribution and business development for power and solar.

“Eric Gosse comes with a strong industry background and a broad international experience in executive positions. I am delighted that he is now joining Nynas as the CEO and I am confident that his leadership will ensure that Nynas transformation journey continues at a high pace,” says Stein Ivar Bye, Nynas President and CEO acting.

Eric Gosse is French and born in 1965. He has an engineering degree from the École Centrale de Paris and a master’s degree in finance.

Stein Ivar Bye who now hands over the position as CEO will continue his engagement in Nynas and support the company as Chairman of the Board. During his time as acting CEO he has focused on Nynas company transformation process with the aim to make the company more financially resilient as a strong base for future success.
