New Bitumen Safety Handbook Now Available

At Nynas, safety is at the heart of everything we do - across our production sites, transport operations, and customer interactions. We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, not only for our own employees, but also for contractors, partners and visitors.

To support this, we have published an updated Bitumen Safety Handbook, offering practical guidance based on the latest knowledge of bitumen-related hazards and risks. The handbook is part of our broader effort to promote a strong safety culture and to maintain a safety performance that exceeds industry standards.

The publication covers best practices for handling bitumen safely, and while it is based on current understanding, users should always take into account additional risks when bitumen is mixed with other materials.
