Industry gatherings

An important forum for spreading knowledge about our products and ongoing research and development work are the various industry events held around the world.

During the past spring, Nynas has participated in the UNITI Mineral Oil Technology Congress (read a full report here), the ELGI Annual Congress and Middle East Energy, among others.

We were also present at the Tire Technology Expo, where Dr. Kamyar Alavi, drawing on Nynas' tyre oils, presented a multivariate analysis approach to compound development with bio-based and alternative raw materials.

Next up is CWIEME Berlin in May. In addition to participating in the exhibition, Dr. Hugo Campelo will give a presentation on the functional and environmental differences between the two types of recycled transformer oils.

In June, we will participate in the Transformer Magazine Industry Navigator in Madrid, with a technical paper on sustainable considerations for the electrical industry. Another key meeting place is CIGRE in Paris in August, where Nynas will participate. In addition, Dr. Pär Wedin will give a presentation on the construction of a bench-top test system based on the tube heating method to safely investigate simulated thermal fault gas generation in a laboratory setting.
